The plain version of our popular Pirscher Gear Ultralight Hoodie Shirt with Tanatex® insect protection is perfectly suited to all the demands of summer hunting: The quick-drying functional shirt protects against heat and sun exposure. Additionally, it keeps annoying bloodsuckers at bay and prevents body odor. The anatomically shaped hood and the integrated camouflage mask provide camouflage while stalking and during hunts from open stands. At the same time, the face is protected from mosquitoes. When the mask is not needed, it can be conveniently hidden in the hood.

As hunters, we are particularly exposed to the risk of disease transmission through insect bites. That's why we have integrated Tanatex® insect protection; an insect-proof treatment based on permethrin. The odorless insect repellent effectively repels mosquitoes and ticks and lasts up to 40 washes.
Protection Against Odor Formation
Functional clothing can quickly develop unpleasant odors when sweating, which is something you want to avoid while hunting. In the Pirscher Gear Ultralight Tanatex Hoodie Shirt, the Silvadur Freshness Technology (skin-friendly, OEKO-TEX certified) actively prevents the formation of odors. The antimicrobial treatment based on silver ions ensures that microorganisms do not multiply in the fabric, so no odors are formed.
Quiet, High-Tech Fabric
The flexible high-performance polyester allows heat and moisture to escape extremely quickly with its smooth, air-permeable waffle grid fabric structure. This creates an evaporative effect on the skin, which feels pleasantly cooling.

The athletic cut and the 4-way stretch material guarantee optimal freedom of movement. Elastic, flatlock seams prevent pressure and chafing, ensuring excellent comfort during the hunt.
The extra-long sleeves with the practical thumb loops can be used to camouflage hands and protect against mosquitoes. At the same time, they improve the fit of the hunting hoodie during movement.
The chest zipper on the Pirscher Gear Ultralight Hoodie Shirt can be opened deep down to the chest. It makes putting on and taking off easier and provides even more ventilation in extreme heat.
In the chest pocket with a zipper, smaller hunting equipment, such as a call or wind checker, can be securely stored.

Please note: Permethrin is safe for humans and dogs - like a spot-on treatment against ticks & fleas - and is harmless to health (Source: World Health Organization (WHO) and the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment). However, permethrin can be harmful to cats, so avoid contact with your pet cat. The insect repellent effectively repels mosquitoes and ticks and significantly reduces the burden of insect bites, but similar to mosquito sprays, it cannot guarantee 100% protection.

Tatsächlich hilfreich gegen Plagegeister
Ich selbst war anfangs skeptisch, ob diese Tanatex Behandlung wirklich das hält was sie verspricht und was soll ich sagen -> JA. Wirklich erstaunlich wie Mücken darauf landen, aber dann sofort wieder abheben und auch als ich diese Kleidung trug waren Zecken nie ein Thema. Gerade in den heißen Sommermonaten genial, da der Stoff ultra dünn und leicht ist. Das einzige negative Punkt den man nennen könnte ist die Robustheit, wenn man mal durch Gestrüpp muss - dafür ist das Produkt allerdings auch nicht gemacht, deshalb von mir die Bewertung „PERFEKT“.
